- ATLAS STOPTER K-50 is an element of thermal insulation systems. It is used for:
– gluing thermal insulation boards made of EPS polystyrene (white and graphite) and making a reinforced layer on them,
– gluing thermal insulation boards made of mineral wool (facade and lamella) and making a reinforced layer on them. - It is recommended for work when there is a need to combine two different thermal insulation materials on the facade – mineral wool and EPS boards – especially in the case of facades with fire protection.
- Recommended for insulating works in traditional, energy-saving and passive construction – for permanent fixing of thermal insulation boards up to 25 cm thick.
Main properties
- ATLAS STOPTER K-50 is produced as a dry mixture of the highest quality cement binder, aggregates and modifying agents, reinforced with polypropylene fibers.
- High resistance to the formation of micro-cracks – thanks to a specially selected pile of fine fillers and additional structural reinforcement using microfibers.
- High durability during operation – the addition of redispersible polymers, microfibers and special additives and modifiers increased the durability of the adhesive and resistance to atmospheric factors.
- On white cement – the use of white cement limits the formation of discolorations or clearances on the plaster (especially in white and pastel colors) and allows you to avoid additional painting.
- It has high adhesion – thanks to the increased content of polymer dispersions, it has high adhesion to concrete and polystyrene boards. The development of this parameter is also positively influenced by a diversified, tight pile of the aggregate mixture. The mortar adheres strongly to difficult substrates, e.g. to surfaces covered with strongly adhering paint coatings.
- It is vapor permeable.
- It does not require the use of primers under plasters – the unique structure of the bonded adhesive creates a layer to which thin-layer plasters strongly adhere, and white cement reduces the possibility of discoloration caused by gray cement on the surface of this type of plaster.
- It has limited water absorption – together with a layer of thin-layer plaster, it perfectly protects the thermal insulation against water
Wear
- – Sticking polystyrene boards: from 4.0 to 5.0 kg/m².
- – Implementation of the reinforced layer on polystyrene boards: from 3.0 to 3.5 kg/m².
- – Bonding of mineral wool boards: from 4.5 to 5.5 kg/m².
- – Reinforced layer on mineral wool boards: from 5.5 to 6.5 kg/m².
- The exact unit consumption of material depends on the parameters of the substrate (including the degree of evenness) and the adopted board gluing technology.
